🏛️ Attraction Overview

The Big Wild Goose Pagoda is a symbol of Xi’an. Built in the third year of the Yonghui era of the Tang Dynasty (652), it was constructed to preserve the sutras and Buddhist statues that Xuanzang brought back from India. The pagoda stands 64 meters tall and features seven square stories. The North Square of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda is home to Asia’s largest musical fountain. At night, the Tang Dynasty Never-Sleeping City sparkles with dazzling lights, and the “Tumbler Girl” performances have gone viral online.

✨ Why It’s Worth a Visit

The Big Wild Goose Pagoda epitomizes the grandeur of the High Tang Dynasty. Strolling through the Tang Dynasty Never-Sleeping City at night, with its dazzling lights, feels like stepping back in time to the Lantern Festival in Chang’an during the Tang Dynasty.
