🏛️ Attraction Overview

The Shenzhen Civic Center Light Show is one of China’s most spectacular urban light displays, using Futian’s central axis as its canvas, with 43 skyscrapers synchronized in a coordinated performance. Ping An Tower takes center stage, with the entire Futian CBD serving as the backdrop. Each show lasts about 15 minutes, with three performances every Friday, Saturday, and on public holidays. The summit of Lianhua Mountain offers the best viewing spot—it’s free and requires no reservation.

✨ Why It’s Worth a Visit

This is Shenzhen’s most breathtaking nighttime experience. When 43 skyscrapers light up simultaneously, the entire CBD transforms into a giant screen right before your eyes—no photograph can truly capture that visual impact.

Practical Tips

The best view is from the summit of Lianhua Mountain

The summit of Lianhua Mountain lies along Shenzhen’s central axis, offering the widest view of the light show. Admission is free and no reservation is required. Arrive early to secure a spot.

Make sure to note the show times

Every Friday, Saturday, and on holidays, there is one show at 7:30 p.m., 8:30 p.m., and 9:30 p.m., each lasting 15 minutes. There are no shows Monday through Thursday!

Common Mistakes

Go Monday through Thursday

You didn’t know the light show is only held on Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays.

Consequences: I waited for ages and nothing happened. Before you go, confirm whether the day is a Friday, Saturday, or holiday.
